Preventative Maintenance:

Is the most overlooked service in the marine industry. Most boaters do not think about scheduled maintenance until there is a problem. Rob's Marine likes to be proactive and remind their customers when work is required an/or factory recommended. Some preventative maintenance services include the following:

• Oil changes at least once per year or every 100 hours

• Tune-ups at least every two years or 200 hours

• Water pump service

• Fuel filters replacement at least once per season

• Bellows and transom reseals inspected annually

• Shift cables inspected annually

• Anodes inspected or replaced annually

• Drive to engine alignment every two years or 100 hours

• Complete service to all VERADO Outboard products

Mechanical Inspections:

This service should be done prior to purchasing your pre-owned vessel and it will give you a detailed report on the mechanical condition of the boat / engine. This works in conjunction with a marine survey. Brochures are available at Rob's Marine Service for your perusal.

• Compression and Leak Down Tests - these tests will give you insight into the internal components of your engine(s) condition.

• Engine Rebuild - if you would like a new and updated engine we can offer gas or diesel repowers.

• Stern drive Rebuilds - we are fully equipped to rebuild all makes and models with confidence. We can rebuild Mercury - Alpha and Bravo units, Volvo - single and dual prop, OMC Cobra.

• Transmission Rebuilds - we can have the follow transmissions or v-drives rebuilt and/or replaced: Borg Warner, Paragon, Hurth and ZF transmissions.

Electrical Inspections:

Navigational and Entertainment installations

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs

• Windlass installations

• Bow thruster installations

• Complete boat rewires

• Panel board replacement and upgrades

• Battery charging system repairs, rewire, upgrades and multiple battery system installs.

Custom Work:

You will be surprised by the amount of customization that is done during installs, repairs and replacements in order for the job to look original and work effectively. Each vessel is different in design and sometimes the job may look straight forward but quite often customization is required to obtain the desired effect. In addition, each customer is unique and each job is done to the customer's requests with feedback from our trained professionals for input to achieve the desired outcome for the customer.
